My sister asked me for some running music recently, and I realized it’s been a couple of years since I made a running mix (although I listen to these old ones all the time). So, here it is: 94 minutes of variable tempo music to run to. Or to do whatever to, for up to 94 minutes. Here’s a list of artists in order:
School of Seven Bells / B52s / Wild Flag / Veronica Falls / The Mo-Dettes / Warpaint/ Brigitte Bardot / Melodie Nelson / Nicole Atkins / Chain & The Gang / Dum Dum Girls / Delta 5/ The Slits / Kiesza / Au Revoir Simone / Missy Elliott / Jean Grae / Fannypack / Computer Magic / La Femme / Sky Ferreira / St. Vincent / The Julie Ruin / Hospitality / Frankie Rose / Beverly / Explode into Colors / Martha & The Muffins / Mary Jane Hooper
I know it sounds like a bit of a slow start, but that acoustic version of Connjur is one of my favorite beginning of run/stretching/shoe-tying /waiting-for-satellite songs ever.
The studio version’s not so bad either. Hope you enjoy.
